Boronia Gardens is pleased to present – The Monty Matthews Community Centre!
On Saturday we celebrated the launch of our fantastic new Community Centre. With a spacious, welcoming design, this sleek new building ushers in a new era for the Village, giving residents a social hub unlike they’ve had before. Adjoining a large grassed area, the lifestyle village’s Community Centre will provide a perfect space for organised activities, including weekly craft lessons, or simply as an area for quiet recreation and relaxation.
Our residents were thrilled with the design and size of their new venue, none more so than the lovely Doris Matthews who formally opened the centre in partnership with Boronia Gardens Village Director, Jim Richards. Doris and her husband Monty were the second residents to join the Boronia community, and the Centre has aptly been named the ‘Monty Matthews Community Centre’ in his memory.
